Step 1: chop the mushrooms.

Peel, rinse and dry the mushrooms. After crumble the mushrooms into small cubes.

Step 2: mix the mushrooms with minced meat.

Add the minced meat (chilled, by no means frozen) to the chopped mushrooms, salt, pepper, put the chopped basil and egg. Mix everything well, and then add as many breadcrumbs as you need to make the mass dense enough to sculpt the cutlets. Stuffing should keep in shape.

Blind medium-sized cutlets from the resulting minced meat and roll each in breadcrumbs.

Step 3: bake the cutlets with mushrooms.

Put the patties on the baking tray. Lay them a short distance from each other.
Bake cutlets in preheated 180 degrees oven for 25 minutes, then gently flip them on the other side and bake more 25 minutesso that the patties are well browned on all sides.

Step 4: serve the baked meatballs with mushrooms.

Baked meatballs with mushrooms are served hot as the main meat dish. The side dish is the same that you usually cook for meatballs. Delicious!
