Vegetarian Chili Ingredients

Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.


Rinse fresh vegetables, and drain all canned foods. In addition, beans should be rinsed with cold water.

Cut green onions into circles, and onions into half rings or feathers.

Peel the tomatoes and zucchini, then cut into small cubes.

Peel the bell peppers from seeds and twigs, cut after cubes the same size as the cubes of tomatoes with zucchini.

Step 2: saute the ginger.


Heat oil in a pan and toss ginger root into it, cut into thin slices.

Fry the ginger until golden brown and remove it from the oil. That's all, we don’t need him anymore.

Step 3: fry the onions.


In the same oil in which the ginger was fried, add the green and onions. Stir fry it until soft.

Step 4: add other vegetables.


When the onion is softer, add vegetable pepper to it and fry everything for several minutes.

After half a minute, add zucchini to the pan and mix everything.

Add Mexican vegetable mix and mushrooms right there.

Stir everything and simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Add now peeled tomatoes and red canned beans.

Season with salt, chili and pepper, cover and simmer all together for about 15 minutes.

Chile will respect and become thicker in the process, as part of the liquid evaporates.

In the end, you can add more spices to taste, but first try to evaluate what is missing.
To taste and desire, you can add 2-3 tablespoons of tomato sauce.

Step 5: Serve Vegetarian Chili.


Serve hot vegetarian chilli. It is very tasty to eat it with toasted toasts. It is satisfying enough to become a main course. Try it for sure.
